Basic Info
Echeveria Cante grows in stemless rosettes of large purple to light purple leaves with fine red edge along the ridge of the leaves.
The leaves and inflorescences are covered with a whitish-lavender powdery coating called the BLOOM. Care must be taken not to touch the bloom as it will scar the look of the leaves.
This succulent is native to North-western Zacatecas State in Mexico and the mountains between Sombrerete and Fresnillo, originally thought to be a form of Echeveria Subrigida, given the name of E. Cante in 1998 by the Cante institute and botanic garden in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.
